Help make this event a success, and raise your profile in the local car community! Race the Runway 2018 will host over 300 high performance and exotic car owners and over 4000 spectators. The event will be promoted in collaboration with local government, print, radio, television and through the car clubs of the Ottawa region.
RtR Demographics
Racers: 130 owners of exotic and extreme performance cars. About 50% of drivers have extensive performance modifications on their vehicles. Most of the cars registered represent the top of the line performance model for their respective manufacturer. Approximately 40% of drivers have spent more than $100,000 on their vehicle and about 20% have spent more than $250,000.
Driver registration typically sells out in 1 day more than 6 months before the event. More that 25% of drivers will drive more than 6 hours to get to the event. This group is passionate about speed, power and beauty.
Drivers are 100% male with 75% falling between the ages of 35 and 55.
Display Car Owners: More than 100 owners of classic, high performance and exotic cars. This group is passionate about cars with more than half of them belonging to car clubs. Display car drivers are predominantly male, between the ages of 35 and 60
Spectators: Last year saw more than 3000 attendees at the event, each paying $5 to view the cars, high speed runs and sponsor stands. Approximately 100 attendees paid $75 each for VIP passes to the event.
Spectators span all age groups and include full families. They are approximately 60% male.

Title Sponsor – SOLD
- Your organization’s name and logo appears as the dominant sponsor on the event web site, program, signage and t-shirt
- Your organization’s name will be featured prominently on the Driver and VIP badges worn by participants
- Your organization’s name and logo will appear in all paid advertisements for the event
- Your sponsorship will be highlighted on the public address announcements at the event approximately once per hour
- Your sponsorship will be highlighted in all press materials and interviews
- Your organization will be provided with a 40×40 display area on the main concourse
- You organization will receive 6 VIP passes the event (value $450)
Drivers Breakfast Sponsor: $1,000
- Your organization will be the official sponsor of a continental breakfast for the participants that includes juices, coffee, tea, assorted fruits and assorted pastries
- Your name and logo appears as 1 of 7 second-tier sponsors on the event web site, event signage, posters and t-shirt
- Your name will appear at the entrance to the drivers lunch tent, on the buffet table and on the dining tables from event opening until 11am.
- You may also place literature and/or promotional items on the tables
- Your organization’s sponsorship of breakfast will be announced of over the PA no less than 1 time per hour
- You will receive 2 VIP passes the event (value $150)
Drivers Lunch $1,000
- Your organization will be the official sponsor of a buffet lunch for the participants that includes assorted cheeses, breads, seasoned meats, salads, a hot dish, assorted fruits, deserts, coffee, pop and sparkling water
- Your name and logo appears as 1 of 7 second-tier sponsors on the event web site, event signage, posters and t-shirt
- Your name will appear at the entrance to the drivers lunch tent, on the buffet table and on the dining tables from 11am until event close
- Your may also place literature and/or promotional items on the tables
- Your sponsorship of lunch will be announced of over the PA no less than 1 time per hour
- Your organization will receive 2 VIP passes the event (value $150)
VIP Area Sponsor: SOLD
- Your organization will be the official sponsor of the VIP balcony overlooking the event. Approximately 100 VIP passes will be sold
- Your name and logo appears as 1 of 7 second-tier sponsors on the event web site, event signage, posters and t-shirt
- Your name will appear at the entrance to the VIP balcony and on the tables on the balcony
- You may also place literature and/or promotional items on the tables
- Your organization’s sponsorship of the VIP area will be announced of over the PA no less than 1 time per hour

Timing Sponsor: SOLD
- Your organization will be the official sponsor of the top speed and quarter mile timings
- Your name and logo appears as 1 of 7 second-tier sponsors on the event web site, event signage, posters and t-shirt
- Your sponsorship of the official timings will be announced of over the PA when run speed times are announced <sponsor name>’s top speed time of….
- Your organization will receive 2 VIP passes the event (value $150)
Lanyard Sponsor: SOLD
- Your organization’s name and logo appears on the event web site, program, signage and t-shirt
- Your name will appear on the badge lanyards worn by drivers and VIPs
- Your sponsorship will be announced of over the PA no less than 1 time per hour and this area will always be referred to as the <sponsor name> Launch Area
- Your organization will receive 2 VIP passes the event (value $150)
Pace Car Sponsor: $1,500
- Your organization’s name and logo appears on the event web site, program, signage and t-shirt
- Your name will appear on the front windshield of the track pace car
- Your sponsorship of the pace car will be announced of over the PA no less than 1 time per hour and the pace car will always be referred to as the <sponsor name> pace car
- Your organization will receive 2 VIP passes the event (value $150)
Named Sponsor $500
- Your organization’s name and logo appears on the event web site, program and event signage
- You will receive 1 VIP pass for the event
- Your sponsorship of the event will be announced of over the PA no less than 4 times during the day
Exhibitor/Vendor Display $500 (10 available)
- You will receive a 30×30 area along the main concourse to promote your organization and/or sell merchandise
- Your display will appear on the site map in the official event program
- Your name will be display in the vendor list that appears in the official program an on the event web site
